Milk Lady Markets is a community-focused farmers market organization offering three seasonal markets in Montgomery County, MD. We bring local farmers, artisans, and families together to enjoy fresh, healthy food and events that celebrate the region’s bounty. For questions or to get involved, please contact us at [email protected] or call (301) 792-9448.
We create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere at each of our markets where vendors showcase fresh produce, handmade goods, and delicious food trucks. Our markets are a place for neighbors to connect through music, community events, and shared experiences. We strive to keep our markets welcoming rain or shine, supporting a vibrant local food system.
Our CSA program offers flexible options for members to receive seasonal boxes filled with local, sustainable produce and products. We design our memberships to fit different needs, including monthly and full-season choices, with special pricing to support all community members. By joining, members build a closer connection to the land and the people who grow their food.
We host events like Strawberry Day and Shred Day to bring people together in celebration and support of our local farms and families. Our Young Entrepreneurs Program encourages youth to engage with agriculture and business in meaningful ways. Volunteers play a big role in making all of these experiences possible and enjoyable.
We are dedicated to supporting sustainable farming practices that protect the environment and help local farmers thrive throughout the year. Our markets are open to everyone—we accept EBT/SNAP payments and work to ensure accessibility for all community members. While our markets are held in a variety of spaces—from driveways to parks—that may present physical challenges, we are committed to meeting ADA accessibility standards to the greatest extent possible. Creating inclusive spaces and making fresh, healthy food available to all is central to our mission.
I'm the founder of Milk Lady Markets—a woman-owned business with a big heart for good food and good neighbors. I'm all about creating spaces where folks feel connected, supported, and well-fed. With a strong sense of responsibility (and a lot of love for local farms), I’m here to help community and nourishment grow side by side.
Local farmers are banding together to support one another and our communities. At the Milk Lady Farmstand booth, we will always let you know which local farm partner your products are from.
